Manchester City has once again established itself as the premier men's club in UEFA's coefficient rankings, while Barcelona has claimed the top spot in the women's rankings after successfully defending their UEFA Women's Champions League title.

In the UEFA men's club rankings, Manchester City has maintained its position as the top club for a third consecutive year, having reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2024. Real Madrid, who triumphed in the Champions League after defeating Manchester City, accumulated the highest coefficient points during the 2023/24 season.

What are the UEFA rankings?

UEFA women's club rankings (five-year coefficient)

Barcelona has secured the top position for the second year in a row in the women's club rankings. The Catalan team triumphed over Lyon with a 2-0 victory in the Women's Champions League final held in Bilbao last May, marking their third title in four years. Chelsea, who faced Barcelona in the semi-finals, made a significant leap from sixth place in 2023 to third.
